| Refurnishing - Need Lots of Help! Hey Guys, I'm after some advice on several pieces of equipment, so to save you the reading time I won't give any backing story and will just get straight to what I'm looking for: 1). A 20-22" Monitor - I have been looking at the Samsung T200 20" in Rose/Black, What do you guys think of this monitor? 2). A Blu-Ray DvD Player - Can they Play Normal DvD's and would I be better buying a Blu-Ray Surround System that is bundled together like the Samsung HT-BD1252? 3). Surround Sound System - Must Be compatible with the Blu-Ray Player and offer a wireless option for the rear speakers even if it has to be bought separately. Also I only have space for front free standing speakers the rear ones must be wall mountable. Obviously not needed if I buy a Blu-Ray Surround Sound Bundle but the other requirements still stand. 3b). Wireless Speaker System - One that would go with the Surround Sound System and Blu-Ray Player, 4). Wall Mount for 26" Samsung TV - I'm sorry but I don't know the model number, it is the same type that was used on the X-Box 360 launch stands. 5). Wall Mount // Stand to hold a Nintendo Wii, Sky Box and The new Blu-Ray DvD Player - I have been looking at the Omnimount Tria is it any good? I think thats everything I will be looking for to finish off the room, and yes I'm a big Samsung guy as I've never had any problems with any of their electronics but I am open to other brands Hope You Guys Can Help Me 7, <><><> Thank you for moving it back to the "Black Hole" that I had just removed it from - 11 threads in 2 months.... maybe I should check back in August - Nice to see the "I need Help" custom build computer thread got to stay in the general section though - Thanks <><><> Last edited by Se7en; 29-06-2009 at 09:31 AM.. |

| Re: Refurnishing - Need Lots of Help! Well, it costs £450 delivered from Play.com so no doubt if shopped for it will be available for less, so that would leave say £100 to get either a monitor (not the T220 though) or the wireless speaker system to go with the Samsung HT-BD1252 and with enough left over for a wall mount for the TV. It would just mean that the new Monitor or wireless speaker system and other stand would have to be put on hold for now but if you go with the HT-BD1252, Wireless adapter and wall mount you will be well on your way to a nice little home cinema system imo, will be the best you will get for this kind of money anyway. Yes I am giving you advice on the forums as you dont listen in real life Bro |
