Re: Cheep Recievers/amps I would hazzard a guess that both of those will have a reserve that is way above what you are looking to spend. The second one probably has a reserve of at least £150, i.e. very close to the Buy It Now price.

Re: Cheep Recievers/amps I agree, that is just silly! They are all branded though, not that I'm making excuses. Although, their speaker cable is supposed to be very good for the money (though I will never advocate spending more than a couple of quid a meter). Richer Sounds isn't as good as it used to be for bargains, mainly because many places have caught up, but there are still a few gems. What has improved is their range and availability though.

Re: Cheep Recievers/amps HDMI is a pre digital cable, so really you don't need to be spending that amount on one. £10-£15 should be sufficient in most cases, though a high quality cable is advisable for long distances. RS did me a deal on cable recently - I was getting 25m @ £2.50 per m but they didn't have any left in stock. They suggested the slightly more expensive bi-wire cable, which I'd only need 1/2 as much of, and then cut the wrong cable - 12.5m of Bi-wire cable at £5 per m, so the same price as I was originally going to pay. However, the bloke was pretty decent and only charged me £4 per m for 12m of cable.

Re: Cheep Recievers/amps http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk/catal...cable-15m.html Cheap as chips & does the job perfectly well for me. As for buying a receiver/amp, have a look through the avforums classified. You will need one a couple year old to fit the budget but you'll find most will do the job without too much fuss! http://www.avforums.com/forums/ampli...ified-adverts/
