| Where to get HDMI Audio to Analog Switch/Amp? I have 2 PCs, Xbox 360 and PS3 (Soon) and I want to connect all of them to a projector. The video side is fine with a HDMI switcher. I have a set of creative 5.1 speakers which the sub-woofer is built into the amp and only accept analog inputs (3.5mm * 3). How can I convert the HDMI 5.1 (probably in LPCM) into analog signal to be used by my speaker? And as an added bonus, perhaps also perform audio switching for all my devices above? | Re: Where to get HDMI Audio to Analog Switch/Amp? buy a reciver. a cheap reciver will do all the switching (no need for HDMI switcher) probably cost the same as a stand alone audio decoder. http://www.richersounds.com/product/.../sony-strdh500 £139. that way you can also upgrade your speakers in due time, and use the AV reciver as an amp. throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception) |

| Re: Where to get HDMI Audio to Analog Switch/Amp? good point, might need to nock up a wiring thing as most put it on one RCA jack per channel. edit: and that sony don't have it. throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception) |
