Zulu is very good, saw a few dodgy comments on amazon and glad I took no notice, simply stunning.
Dark City is also very good, tis a very dark film, so good TV black levels are a must.
I liked Dark Knight, very good.

Blade Runner : The final Cut is a very good example of remastering......I was blown away at how gorgeous it looked for a 1982 film.

My poorest BD is the original Predator, the film was better when shown on Sky HD than my Bluray.
From what I have heard Sunshine is supposed to be a very good transfer, a couple of guys who had their TV Isf calibrated said the guy used the Sunshine BD to check it as a reference.

Black Hawk Down, the smoke looks especially good - it sort of has depth rather than a black smudge you'd get on DVD The Imax screens from Dark Knight as already mentioned do look stunning (shame not everything is filmed in 1:85 ?) however i don't rate the film that highly personally. Swordfish looked quite good as well

IGN doesn't normally update on the weekend, but this is Halo so normal rules don't apply

I saw Iron Man tonight. Looked good and I soon forgot about bd and hd and was just enjoying the film. You won't be disappointed. I wasn't.

    Re: Blu-Ray Movies

This week I have been mostly watching on Bluray....

Dumb & Dumber - A good transfer, was great to watch again but not exactly a film that benefits from hd.
Big - A pleasant delight on bluray, but considering the last time I saw it was on VHS I might have got a bit wrapped up in what a great film it is.
The Dark Night - Very good transfer I thought, some areas had astounding levels of detail.
Cars - Great looking as with all pixar's work, but not one of my favoured, would rather watch the Wall-E Bluray any day.
Ghost Busters - For me the most disappointing of the lot, I don't think I could tell an awful lot of difference between this and the DVD upscaled on my PS3. Obviously some slow or still shots showed further detail but not enough to get me excited about it again.

I don't own many blu rays but out of the ones I've got I really think The Dark Knight and Transformers have some amazing visuals. Love the shots of Hong Kong in TDK - superb detail.

I own a few Blu Rays now and the ones that stand out for me are Hancock, Hellboy 2 & Watchmen

All look really good and very sharp in 1080P
