    Overburning?

    Hi Folks,
    I'm burnin' an audio cd that is live material. The total length is 85 minutes.
    only got 80 min cd's though

    Sooo, what's the chance of overburning by that amount?

    Sod it, im just gonna do it....

    5mins extra should be possible

    iirc the only thing that limits our storage on cd is the fact we based their capacity on the longest recorded single piece of music ever (knoxehs useless fact of the day)

    i once stuck 85 mins on a 70min CD so should be possible.

    It varies from CD to CD. Most of the 80 minute ones I've tried go to about 83 minutes or just under. If it's a compilation I just stick my least favourite track at the end and hope for the best.
