| Van Helsing Last night at midnight I managed to get myself free tickets to one of the world's first showings of this film so I decided to go along. Tbh it's a bit of a no brainer, the special effects are amazing with all the monsters and scenary etc. But apart from that the storyline's non existant, the acting is way over the top and it tries to create a dramatic clifhanger every 5 seconds. It's not too bad but I was expecting better tbh. |

| ERm, quite frankly van hesling rocks saw it last night. Its not CGI ON CGI ON CGI, sure there are some pretty spectactular sequences, and the soundtrack is SUPERB!" Quite frankly the storyline rocks, got substance and definitely got a dark edge, its got a superb non hollywood ending. Anyone who misses it is DEFINITELY missing out. TiG -- Hexus Meets Rock! -- |

| It sounds good, any film with Hugh Jackman in is gonna be good, and if it's got a character from Dracula in then all the better. Hopefully I will get to go see it at some point soon. |

| Very dissapointing Kate Beckinsale made it bearable but i wont be buying this one on dvd. The cgi was incredible and hugh jackman was decent. Kate was lovely... did i mention that? Just a shame it ws so drawn out and boring |

| Junior Senior Member | Very much like the director's other movies (The Mummy, The Mummy Returns). If you liked them, you'll like this. If you didn't, then you won't. I thought his portrayal of Van Helsing was very poor. He should be a dark, gothic bad-ass but he came across as a total dufus. |

| Saw it yesterday, was fairly enjoyable. Not too deep, though, in terms of story-line. And everything got wrapped up almost too nicely, what with virtually everything being explained away. Spoilerish: highlight to read. Though is it just me, or is it very similar to Underworld, in terms of the underlying vampire vs. werewolf story-line? Just seemed a little too coincidental to me.
