its a shame but Women, Home's and Hi-Fi dont mix. all my Arcam/Mission/Linn gear was booted out in favor of a one box DVD home entertainment system.

i cannot begin to compare the sound difference, im so worse off its game over.

That would have been the dealbreaker for me mate. My wife has taken over most of our flat with her books, clothes and general junk, but the computer and TV/Hi-Fi were non-negotiable.

She's a terrible spendthrift on exercise videos and useless crap like that, so I treat myself to some toys every so often and tell her to get over it. My theory of women is you should obey them the 90% of the time it doesn't really matter and stand up to them the 10% of the time it does. Otherwise, you'll end up a feeble little henpecked wimp- and end up poisoning her in your 50s.

Edit: I'm not accusing you of being a wimp btw ken, you clearly have retained some domestic spending power with a computer like that .

It was a great amp and the only reason i got rid of it was; I came into £5,000 and spent the lot on Amps, speakers, Dac, and transport.

It needs to be matched carefully to the right speakers, as most amps do. 25 watts doesn't sound much but being a class A amp, read this as to why this is not important.

It does run hot though, VERY hot, another reason why i changed because in the summer it was like having a heater on. Listen to it before you buy though as it may not be to your taste.

    Thx Sk!mD4Rk!

That's all i wanted to know. With a pair of Dynaudio Contour 1,4 it wont be a problem i think. I listened to them yesterday, while they were driven by a marantz pm4, a class-A Amp ,with "only" 15WPC. Impressive sound, thats for shure. Hope The MF will work aswell.

    Bye

If your speakers have a sensitivity of 91db/w/m or over then 25w/channel of class A goodness will be muchos powaaaaaaaa.

    Mmmm.
