Is this the movie they've had to pay to use they're own songs in?

Interesting to to hear Dave Mustaine's take on the film on the Radio 6 Rock show.

Metallica come out as complete ***holes. Mustaine (who was having personal problems too) was asked by Lars to meet up with Hetfield and was interviewed to help solve the split between the 3 old metallica members after the long running feud. Mustaine agreed reluctantly hoping it would finally put an end to the bitterness and allowed the interviews to be recorded but not to be shown in the film without his consent.

In the end Hetfield and Lars **** on Mustaine and used the film, when he said no to make themselves look better. Complete c**ts if you ask me just like their music since Justice. imo they went downhill when Burton died.

To be honest I just want to see the movie for the footage of the Mustaine and Lars interview which was according to mustaine very edited in their favour. Got to say it though Mustaine is the man.

I've seen this now, Lars comes off as a total ass tbh, hetfield isn't the tough frontman he's always been made out to be and kirk seems the voice of reason for the lot of em tbh.

As for the mustaine interview it's interesting to say the least, Mustaines gonna say it was edited because it does make him look like a complete tart imo but then I've never been a huge mustaine fan anyway.

Its worth the watch though if your a fan, shows the band as people far more than any interviews have beforeeven if some of it does feel a little staged at times.

Read about this in Metal Hammer when they interviewed the band about the documovie. This movie covers the tour that they were having all the problems and almost split. Its supposed to be a good one to watch according to the guy who was speaking with Metallica at the time.
