Departed :-( Musicians who you realy miss

For me....the person who I miss the most, is Kurt Cobain.

I listened to Foo Fighters One on One today and you can HEAR the influence he had on them...it pours from every track.

    I miss Kurt Cobain....a lot

Who do you miss.....really regret never being able to hear new material from?

Freddy Mercury is another......but what about you?

Can i say "Zack del la Rocha" (i cant spell his surname), even though he's not "departed" RATM arent around. His political influence and lyrics were SUPERB. Coupled with Tommy Morello (sp? again) and the rest of the band they were the best thing since sliced bread imo.

Also - Barry White: A women came up to him once and asked if he could make love to her 4 daughters.. at the same time. How people wouldnt be alive today with him?? Gotta give him that.

I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigs Which doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!

Jeff Buckley (or his dad for that matter). Accidental drowning - how pointless is that, eh?

Well I really miss the Verve as a group too, Richard Ascroft on his own just doesn't cut it for me. Bitter Sweet Symphony is one of the fav ever songs.

I'm sure if i get time later today i'll think of a stack load more people too.

    GUN

One of my all time favorite bands, totally underrated and now gone seperate ways

Saw them live at the Astoria about 5 years ago - blew me away.

Crushed by a tour bus. that sucks. The thing is James/kirk (cant remember which one) couldnt sleep that nite so got down from his top bunk next to Cliff and sat down at the front. it then crashed and he got catapulted throught the window. If james/kirk had slept the same thing would have happend to him aswell :/

Totally agree. Urban Hymns is one of my all-time favourite albums, still listen to it now.
