    Kerrang Radio

Heard about this last week, they've had they're own digital station for a while but now there's a standard radio station. Its actually pretty decent there's no dj's or crappy adverts its just music and having had it on all morning the stuff they play ain't bad, far better than radio 1 at any rate

anyone else been listening to it?

Are you on about the Digital radio station you can get on free view know or is there a newer one than that?

If you are on about the free view one then I have not heard anything decent on it yet, apart from the odd Fear Factory or Machine Head track, it seems most of it is "pop rock"

no, the digital station is the one you get through a freeview box, the new one knox is talking about is an FM/AM/MW radio station, but no doubt all i'll get is fuzz if i try tuning it in.

    does anyone know the frequency?

you never get the rock/metal radio stations up here, this is why I mp3'd my whole collection of metal and took it into work with me

I'd rather they leave it as it is tbh, most dj's are annoying

if its 105 - 107 fm we wont get it up here in Newcastle as Galaxy uses that frequency range so the K radio can't be national

Way back, when they were doing the Virgin radio tests we'd get The Doors, Zeppelin and Hendricks 24/7 for about 2 months. I thought at the time I'd stumbled onto a pirate rock station and was well happy. Now look what they are..........

My advice is to make the most of it as even though its Kerrang! it's bound to go downhill rapidly. Xfm even play R&B now that Robert Smith sold-up and moved on.

Digital radio is now the only way to fly
