    Old OnDigital boxes

Are these any good for viewing the free digital channels? Got one laying around somewhere, worth getting it out?

Yeah, still using mine, works fine.I don't watch the free channels much, but having the news channels is sometimes handy and the digital picture quality is generally spot on now, better than I can get from analogue since the Canary Wharf buildings started ghosting our signals.

oh, just thought it might be worth mentioning just incase, when you go into the option to restore your channels, if it starts asking for your password. it'll be because you still have your old smart card in (dont know if you've still got it or not) just take it out and try restoring again without it in.

Yeah, I still use my old Pioneer one. Mainly use it for the digital quality picture and the widescreen option.

The only problem is that I don't know how to delete all of the old channels.

aaron, if you restore your channels it will delete the old ones for you, and just store in the ones being transmitted at the moment (that you can recieve a signal for) if, you've still got all the subscription stuff like e4 and itv sport etc... you're likely missing out on a fair few channels like all the new bbc channels
