Anyone know about the Eltax DVR-500 DVD player/recorder?

Moving to Sweden in 5 weeks or so, and originally I was intending to take over my A/V amp (Sherwood RD-something) and DVD player (Toshiba SD2100E I think), but I'm thinking it might be easier to just get new kit over there instead.

The amp decided to stop processing DTS input recently, which has really annoyed me - then there's the hassle of rewiring or using converters for European sockets.
Plus they are both black units, but my widescreen TV is silver.

Soooo... I'm looking around the Komplett Sweden site at "reasonably priced" A/V amps and DVD players (ideally that I could make region free) in silver, and I find these 2 chappies:

Eltax Tangent DVR-500 (DVD recorder)

Eltax Receiver AVR-280 (A/V amp that caters for DTS)


Now, I'm not terribly fussed about the brand, to me the main thing is that it's a matching set (colour wise) and handles DTS okay, so I do some poking around to get some more detailed info (in English!):

Eltax website info on the A/V amp was easy to find, but even on Eltax's website I can't find a reference to the DVR-500!

Best I found was this page (in German) which lists the specs briefly as:
"Pal B/G, I, DK - Surround Format: 5.1, Stereo, Dolby Digital, DTS, MPEG, PCM, Bildformate: PanScan, LetteBox, 16:9. Abspielformate: DVD, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, VCD, SVCD, CD, CD-R, CDRW, MP3, JPEG"


Anyone here have any dealings with, or knowledge of Eltax equipment?
Are there any glaringly obvious reasons I shouldn't consider either piece of kit?

Oh, and if anyone's trying to figure out the Swedish prices, divide roughly by 13 to get the price in sterling, or visit ExchangeRate.com for an up-to-date conversion
