Current Albums of choice??!
Ok so we have the I am listening to this track by such and such threads and people do like like individual tracks but what whole albums do you like right now, which ones are filling your cd changer, PC, HiFi or your ipod up right now? Give us the names and give us the reasons why.....
For me its kinda easy.... Beastie Boys - To the Borough 5 this album is just so good, I heard the track on MTV video awards and thought hmmm, thier anthology album is damn good, but this new one is totally rocking. Seriously cool tunes Maroon 5 - Songs about Jane Right I know what the heck is this doing in here after following the Beastie Boys, but this is oneof those bands I hated when they came out, just because they were maroon 5, but the more I listen to this album the more I realise this is a pretty good album for just having at times. If you ain't heard it it really is worth a listen. Faithless - No Roots More excellent tunes from the thin guy who looks like a monkey , his music is just getting better and better.Highly Recommended!Switchfoot - The Beautiful Letdown Interesting, a Cross between The Calling and Lifehouse, this is a pretty good set of tunes and quite relaxed, not your hardcore rocking, but a moderate dosage, perfect for driving and not letting the music turn you into a hooligan lol So whats your current albums of choice and why? m@ |

*opens cd changer*
Machine Head - Burn my Eyes I gotta have something loud enough to wake me up in a morning in there and davidian is just perfect for that ![]() Amen - Death before Musick Quality album, only recently got my hands on it so i've been listening to it loads, don;t think its as good as they're last album but time will tell. Breed77 - Cultura Been in my cd changer for ages this one, quickly becoming a favourite band of mine, seen em twice live this year and they've kicked ass both times imo and this album easily matches anything the bigger names in metal are putting out atm. |

Reuben - Racecar is racecar backwards
because it's the last album i bought. heard them ages ago and instantly liked them, have been waiting for them to get signed properly and record an album for ages, instead they decided to pay for it themselves, i really like it and i'm too lazy to change the cd do E.Ps count? If so Orca - The days are restless but the nights are explosive awesome band, awesome songs, good mates Make Her Cry - Untitled e.p the band kick behind! and the songs rule, shame it's their last ever gig on friday before they split up. |

Late September - Deepest Blue
Mostly upbeat album and easy to listen to - not the kind of thing I would usually go mad for but it feels quite 'Summery' which is why I think I like it so much! Hopes and Fears - Keane From the minute I played the first track I was hooked. Can be a tad depressing depending what mood you are in, but a good band nonetheless. Fav Track being 'Bedshaped'. Final Straw - Snow Patrol Fantastic band, brilliant songs, strange titles!!
If you're not living on the edge, you take up too much room

Had a quick change over today:
Don Johnson Big Band - The Album Milk - In the fridge (Friends band, brill album. Pretty heavy, rock metal) It's getting near summer too, which means most of my music starts to fall into the hip hop genre, so i'm getting some Run DMC, NWA, Beatie Boys, Sneaker Pimps etc ready ![]() Plus listening to some local tallent in the form of Pitchshifter, from Nottingham, lead guitarist works in local music stores. |

Hmm, mines a bit odd ball - been ill and off sick the last week and my mind has left until things are ok again.
Classics of the Millennium - Various Classical greats. Busta Rhymes - The Coming. Thunder Megamix 1-5 - Er Happy Hardcore from the 90's, including that 'starwars track' the 'chicken one' and the ultimate sex track. It always makes me grin like a fool ![]() Kill Bill Soundtrack - It's just class. |
