The Punsiher The third comic to film conversion I've seen this summer and its not half bad, not as good as hellboy but not as unimpressive and slow as spiderman 2 was at times. Some quality action scenes spoiled by some slightly unrealistic parts eg. The characters flack jacket seems to be able to withstand 3 shotgun shells at damn near point blank range without wounding him and his ability to carry 40 million landmines. I was unsure about the choice for the main character but he carrys it off quite well, far better than dolph lundgren did at any rate. Tis a good film if your in the mood but if your not you'll find the few inconsistencies too irratating. ![]()

SHUT UP! SHUT UP! The Dolph Lundgren movie was A-W-E-some! People just can't comprehend how good it was, so say it was tosh! The new one's pretty good, but it just isn't as dark as the original movie/the comic was. And with the title being just an obvious excuse for guns/violence/explosions, the storyline seems somewhat watered down from that of the comic. I'm not sure about all the side-kick/apartment dwellers either.. although I suppose they were the comic relief for the film, I felt that the over-use of the characters took alot away from the film on a whole.

I simply can't comprehend how good it was because I was so busy noticing how much it sucked ass ![]() The people in the apartments near him I found pretty annoying tbh as beyond the few jokes they were terrible characters that weren't required. Yet again as with hellboy I have no experience with the punisher in comic form beyond my memories of him on the spiderman cartoon. ![]()
