New Speakers (Not really 56k friendly)

OK, 3040's being gently bed in, here's the pics as promised.

View from the couch - 32" Samsung TV with Gale Centre on top

Kenwood 200 disc CD changer and Yammy DVD

Yammy Surround amp and obligatory X-box

Then the antiques corner - Video, MD recorder and a thoroughly modern MVP!

    Rear Aristons on Ikea stands

Paradigm 8" sub sat behind the couch

So how does it all sound? Definately an improvement - Much clearer in the midrange with a lot more defination. Not pushing the volume too far just yet, but so far I'm happy. And mr richer will let me take them back in 14 days time if I'm not!

Oh and not forgetting the other "home entertainment centre".....

Are they those really cheapo Aristons from Richer sounds?

At £15 I was thinking of getting a pair just for the fun of it, what are they like stereo sound wise?

Yup they are - Soundwise? Well, I've only ever run them as rears so they never have to do much work. As a pair of rears they're great.

Theyre pretty poor sounding, but, for £10 odd you cant expect more.
