| daft ideas inc. | Hey guys - Does anyone know of any quality headphones with a detachable mic - looking for closed setup - or even open would do - saw the review of the sennie's on the front page, but I don't particularly like them. Ideally something that can be stored quite easily so I can use them at home, in the office and on the tube. Any ideas? Scotty |

| no idea at all....what a tricky one. Removeable mic so you can wear them in public without looking like an off duty airline pilot ![]() Agent = Hardware Homosapien | Zak33 = Hardware Homonid - just call me "Lucy" |

| the more I think of that, the less likely it is. The cables would have to be seperate, so in essence you would have a clip for the boom mic and the cable would be everywhere ![]() Agent = Hardware Homosapien | Zak33 = Hardware Homonid - just call me "Lucy" |

| daft ideas inc. | mmmm - I know... I can get nice broadcast ones which have a pop-clip boom mic on the side (look just like airline ones too) where you've got a single cable which breaks out at the end to a connector block, so you can connect whatever connectors you need.... but they're about £300 (they come with connectors for use on a studio camera) and they're just slight overkill. Even my low profile labtec ones make me look like a bit of a twit in public.... then again - it might not be the mic! |

| can you get a clip on mic....I mean one that clips to your lapel or shirt....like a Handsfree kit for a mobile kinda-thing. cos if so, Koss do some foldup headphones http://www.audiovisualonline.co.uk/d...s/display.html Legin will no doubt help ya ![]() I'll look for a mic. The reason I thought of this was that so many desk top mics are SO SENSITIVE you're bound to be able to get a clip on one. ![]() Agent = Hardware Homosapien | Zak33 = Hardware Homonid - just call me "Lucy" |

| daft ideas inc. | liking the koss UR29's - think I'll have to get those! I used to have the Pro-4AA's from my radio days but my Dad has stolen them! the portapro looks like the ideal for public transport so they might be the best bet with a lapel mic! Thanks Zak! Scotty |
