Ben Stiller and Gang

I don't know if anyone else noticed but it seems that there is a small group of comedy actors that have much of taken over two thirds hollywood comedys. Ben Stiller, Own Wilson, Luke Wilson, Jack Black, Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell. These guys are all know to be friends with them all cameo rolls in each others films.

Some recent examples...

Anchorman
Dodgeball
Starsky & Hutch
Old School
Zoolander
Wedding Crashers, The (due out in 2005)

They are knocking films out by the bucket load.

Will Farrel alone in the next 2 years is in the following films..... Confederacy of Dunces, A (2005) Joan of Bark: The Dog that Saved France (2006), Talladega Nights (2006), The Producers (2005), Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny (2005), Bewitched (2005) Jack Wyatt/Darrin Stephens Curious George (2005), Wedding Crashers, The (2005), Kicking & Screaming (2005), The Wendell Baker Story (2004), Winter Passing (2004), Melinda and Melinda (2004).

I imaigne he will also have a few un-credit appearances in films by some of the other guys mentioned above and many of them are involed in the above films in one way or another.

Ben Stiller is in 3 films that are in UK cinema's right now.

I think they are starting make all other actors in hollywood seem like part timers.

What are your thoughts?

Adam Sandler does a similiar thing, giving all his mates part's in his films and he seems to have a new film out every 3-4 months..

Also he has been executive producer on some films for other comedy actors.

And the best thing about it is, all those films you just listed (with the possible exception of zoolander) are absolutely terrible.
