    Your most stupid audiophile accessory

Was just looking at www.dansdata.com and came accross this link:

    http://www.referenceaudiomods.com/Me...Code=NOB_C37_C

It's a volume control knob - in wood - for $485! Because it "improves" the sound quality, yeah right....

So - whats the most stupidly overpriced (and useless) things you've come accross? There must be tons of cables and stuff out there for fools to buy - kudos to anyone that finds a wooden cable

Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

In fact, pretty much anything from that site. DVI-D cables for £80+, not for dual-link 9mpix screens or anything but for a bog-standard LCD/Plasma screen that'll have 1024x768 res at best. Just WTF?

    Not a cable but http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObje....6.25.7.11.0.3
socks for an iPod. Costs £20, just silly. I just buy a £1 pack of socks from Matalan and I can WEAR them too
