    Lightbulb what mp3 players allows...

At the minute I have a muvo^2, which is great and all, but really annoying if I take the notion to play a particular track (which I do, a lot).

I usually have it just randomly going through all available tracks, so to jump to a particular one I need to disable random through the menu, then navigate to the right album folder, select it, then skip to the track and off it goes.

To resume I then have to go back into the menu, re-enable random and select the root folder, which then cuts out the current track playing for a new random one.

Anyone know what HD based mp3 player allows you to just queue a song to play right after the current one, or one, that even in random, allows you to scroll through the tracks and pick one? Please don't tell me only an iPod!!

    Cheers!

Escape Fails - Love, Blood, Family, You - album available from iTunes and other digital stores!!

    well the creative zen,

but u have to choose the songs to play 1st which can be annoying, with everything u play, it puts it into a 'now playing' list so if u press the now playing button u'll get the list up of everything played, there u can choose to play the list or put it onto random

(mines a 1st edition 20gb one, i dont know if the firmware is different on the newer ones)

I wish the Rio Carbon had that feature

We're talking about an on-the-go playlist? It should be obvious to companies that this is a very useful feature

creative jukebox had it from the get go and it was the 1st ever hard drive MP3 player. If you don't mind too much about the size, the creative jukebox 3(which is about the size of a small personal cd player) allows you to find songs and add them after the current one and then save the new playlist if you want. That player rocks and I would never replace mine.

I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
