    The Aviator

It would seem that Mr. DeCaprio has grown up... he was actually very good in this film - portrayed a complete nutter very very well... The film itself is altogether quite good, and not what you'd expect tbh. Lynni thought "omg it's all about planes and stuff" which is kinda is, but they provide the backdrop only, the real story is about the man, Howard Hughes (DeCaprio), and his storybook struggle against politics and his own head. It's a bit like Top Gun, got a bit of everything to appeal to most audiences... Worth seeing, will deffo be added to the DVD collection when it arrives

Yeah, it's defo worth watching . . . was very very surprised by Leo's performance. Out of a 3 hour movie, there's probably 5 mins worth of boring bits.

Such an inspiring movie as well . . . kinda reminds me of The People vs Larry Flint.

I really enjoyed it also, Leo is very good (though I'd never say that). Not sure howit's like the love story that is Top Gun...

It's like Top Gun in that it's about a very strong-minded fellow, who enjoys flying aeroplanes, who gets caught up in more politics than flying which nearly ruins him...

Went to see it cause Electra was sold out and was expecting it to be bad, but was actually very good. Nice camera work and directing - lenny wasn't too bad either.

Saw Electra the next day - turned out that was far, far worse...

Now go away before I taunt you a second time.
