Getting Back into Music... 'Killers' 'Razorlight' and so on

I’m really getting back into music after a while away… I know that sounds strange but I guess I have had a rough ride lately and I’m on the up.

I really like the killers album? Anyone else into these guys? Track 05 “ All These Things That I've Done” is amazing! – anyone know if it was a single?

And Razorlight they are pretty cool, looking forward to hearing more from them this year..

Just got the Zutons album which I quite like too,

A few questions anyone know if the darkness have a new album due out?

Also I herd a feeder song which was really rocking and uplifting maybe a few years old… anyone got any suggestions ?

Tyrannosaurus Hives, fast paced, adrenaline charged songs for the most part. Hated it at first listen, but quickly grows on you.

Feeder have got a new single and album out but to be honest it sucks. I'd guess you heard something from an older album, which were much better. Oh and yes the killers are very good

New QOTSA is good and Kaiser Chiefs are ace (album out 7th of March)

But have to say that may recent discovery (probably bit old for some people) is Hoobastank, great band.

yeah they do suck, i think its cos of havin no jon lee about making them go into a more depressing side of music, i remember the old songs, buck rogers, just a day, a lot more faster and pwoerfuller, thats why i used to like feeder, and why recently ive gone off them totally

as for hoobastank, they aint too bad, i think it was their self titled album that ive got, crawling in the dark is a tune....the reason is a bit too slow and sad for my liking, but it is a good song

I definately adore the killers album, but I have to push The Bravery - very much of a similar theme, (New Order anyone?) And you can't go wrong with a little bit of the Mars Volta or Willy Mason, 2 very different artists but the content of their material is fantastic.

British music is doing well at the moment, Franz Ferdinand, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs etc.

I suggest looking into The Coral (my local band!) if you liked The Zutons

Another vote for The Hives... How about Kings of Leon (especially the 2nd album)... Bloc Party maybe... I prefer the older QOTSA stuff myself... Franz Ferdinand quite good... Not a fan of the Zutons myself but loads of people are keen on them for some reason or other

Yup - Out of Nothing.... class! Got to pimp the current single 'Looking as you are' - especially as Im on the poster which comes with the CD2 single!
Just bought their singles album called Fireworks.... as good, if not better than Out of Nothing IMO! Going to see them at Brixton next week, they are class live.

And as always I will throw Snow Patrol into the mix... if you dont have Final Straw YOU NEED IT.... utterly fantastic.
.................. that reminds me, lost my DVD of the gig at Somerset House, time to turn the flat upsidedown! (Sorry totally off subject!)

Hoobastank - The Reason, best song on the album of the same name.

Athlete - 'Tourist' very good... who doesnt love 'Wires'?? The rest of the disc is also worth a listen or two.

If you're not living on the edge, you take up too much room
