| Discman volume problem. I've just bought the sony DNE-20 cd player, as my old discman gave up the ghost a few days ago. It looks so nice and the sound quality is amazing, there's just one problem, it's really quiet, stupidly so. On my old player half volume is 3/4 to almost full volume on this one. Is there any thing I can do to increase the volume? I've heard it's limited because it's european, but have searched on google for any ideas on remving the limiter and came up with nothing. Please help!!! Hope this is the right thread wasn't sure which one to put it in. Thanks for any help, you guys usually help me when i get a problem!!  |

| is avls turned on? might have a logo on the screen or something - thats what sony call their volume limiting stuff failing that, i'd reccomend getting some better earphones. the best sony ones retail at around £35 in the shops but are only £18 or so brand new on the 'bay. they block out nearly *all* background noise, and i would say they are 50% louder than any other in-ear jobs i've tried hughlunnon@yahoo.com | I have sigs turned off.. |
