    'Lost'

    anyone been watching this?

i personally found that as the season progressed it got more and more dissapointing, like they were dragging the storyline out more and mroe, without any conclusions. just watched the last episodes of the first season and my fear is confirmed.. i dunno if i'll bother watching it next season..

Just started watching it (finished episode 1) after a reccomendation from a mate.

    Not convinced myself :/

Think I will spend my time watching the series of 24 that I have not seen yet.

I think It's brilliant! not yet seen the last two episodes though..

    Spoilers!

I like the way each episode provides not just more backstory for one charactor, but hits at the lives of the others. For instance, Hurley appears on the TV in a number of other characters episodes. Really adds to the mystery surrounding some of these people!

I'm itching to know the significance of the numbers.. are they really some mystical power? I'll comment more when I've finished watching the season.

I think its the best show around at the moment, easily. I was shouting at my TV at the end of the last episode because I thought "you cant end a series like that, bast***s"

i personally thought the last episode was w**k, no 'ending' as such at all

origionally there were 24 episodes, plus a special, the last of which was 90 mins long. they then stretched the last one to make it a bit longer, and thus made it 2 episodes

any guesses as to what the 'monster' was? there were mechanical noises, as if it was a machine, but the smoke is still definately 'spooky'

one other thing, why didnt they explore the 'island'? its clearly bigger than they realised - hell they could just be on a remote 'part' of australia or something
