| Lovely setup. However, to increase your viewing enjoyment, how about spending a little money on getting rid of that hideous wallpaper? |

| yeah the wallpapaer aint great. But tbh once the lights are down low and a movie is on you get so engrossed that the wallpaper doesn't matter. The arcam is actually my cd player.. and I thought it was streets ahead of all it's close price competitors. It's a cyrus smartpower.. the plan for future upgrades is to get another smartpower for the rears, and a cyrus mono amp for the centre (badly needed since the purchase of the tag mclaren).... then get a fancy preamp. cos while the yamaha does sing it's little heart out, it is by far the cheapest bit of kit there, it's also the oldest, dating from my pro-logic system, but it does have a 6 channel input and output so attaching multiple power amps is possible. |

| Oh right, yeah - we have an Arcam Alpha CD player, they are great, and only about 4 buttons so you can just get on and use them ![]() Take a look at the Arcam decoders, a few months ago we got the Diva AVR250 downstairs, runs with B&W DM6s on the front and Quad 11Ls at the rear, sounds brilliant. Its got preouts but never heard it with power amps.
