| Which wireless music player? I am looking for a wireless music player to stream music from my computer to my lounge, and have looked at these two, the Netgear MP101 and the Philips Streamium SL50i. I think that the SL50i looks much nicer than the Netgear but was wondering if either was any good, or does anyone recommend another one? I am looking to spend around 100 pounds on it. Thanks for any help.   |

Advantages - . better file format support (FLAC, Apple Lossless, AIFF, WAV, MP3, WMA, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, MPC etc.) . 802.11g networking (fewer drop-outs) . open source server software with vibrant developer community e.g. excellent support in online forums, lots of plugins . high-quality DAC . connect to Internet radio streams without having to switch your server PC on . is the only product the company (SlimDevices) makes i.e. guaranteed support Take a look at their website for further details - http://www.slimdevices.com/. ~£189 (Multitask Computing, Broadbandstuff...) I honestly think it is the best £190 you can spend on a wireless music system. |
