Best photo printing software I've got a Canon Selphy CP600 photo printer (produces 6"x4" photos) and a HP PSC 2355 All-In-One printer. I was using the free HP Image Zone Express to print photos onto the Canon photo printer until last night when my PC crashed. Now I cannot run the HP Image Zone Express software even after repeated uninstalls/installs. It produces the XP error saying that this application has produced an error and do I want to send a report to Microsoft. I don't like any of the Canon apps for printing as they are cumbersome. Hence, i'm after recommendations for a good photo printing application. One that will catalogue my photos on my hard drive, do borderless prints, auto image fixing (eg. red-eye removal, contrast adjustment, etc). One of the reasons I liked HP Image Zone Express was that it was a tiny app and printed the photos to completely fill the 6"x4" photo paper in the Canon printer (it acutally overprinted very slightly onto the tear-off strips). Every other app i've tried (including PaintShop Pro) does not fully utilise the photo paper and leaves a few millimetres of border on the left and right edge of the printed photo.

Photoshop elements might be worth a look, you can download a demo from the adobe website. Have just done some borderless prints on my IP400 using it. Think its available for around £60ish.

I'm using PSP 9.0 and that also does not overprint the picture, it leaves a right and left margin of just a few mm's. What I ended up doing for now was to reinstall the HP software and drivers but selected the full install. This installs the full version of HP Image Zone - this is more than I need but the printing facility works in the same way as Image Zone Express. Hence, I am now getting my photos printed in true borderless style! I will take a look at Photoshop Elements shortly as i've heard good things about that.
