| Resident Evil 2 Movie. Last night, I watched Resident Evil 2 the Movie on DVD, at a friend’s house. I’ve never really gotten into any of the games & only seen the ending of RE2 on the PS-1, when a friend completed it or me. But Man, that was one hell of a crap movie! It was even worse than the previous one! Luckily I didn’t pay to watch either of them… A very laughable experience indeed. It’s surprising that the Action Movie industry is still alive, with all these retarded excuses of films being released every year. About "Land of the Dead". I watched some trailers of this zombie movie 2-3 months ago, but I thought it was all ready out 1 month ago. Is Land of the Dead any goood? Now about RE... What was that Nemesis guy supposed to be in the RE3 game? Was he a mutated Zombie? What was his mission in the game & who created him? Does he also attack the zombies in the RE3 game, or just you? I would imagine he has nothing to do with the guy in the RE2 movie I saw yesterday... |

| Is Nemesis the Final Game Boss of RE3? Judging by the film & by the looks of the Game front cover, he seems to be one mighty freckle kicking dude. Do you kill him in the end, or does he reappear in RE4? Back in 1997 my mate showed me the ending of RE2... The huge, uncontrollable, speeding locomotive & that gigantic mutated worm thing that would re-spawn every time it was blown up. I've also seen the intro of RE1, with the abominable dogs of chaos, chasing you across the fields & the spooky mansion where you flee for safety. There was a funny part in RE3 where a guy locks himself up in a huge metal container & refuses to follow you outside, but when you return after some time, you find him eaten up! These are the types of games that I would rather watch than play. |

| I actually thought Land of the Dead was a very good film, whilst not as good as the Day of the Dead (no not Dawn of the Dead) it was still a breath of fresh air, I just can't stand the idea of thinking zombies so naturally those bits were a complete turn off and it was also quite repetitive in places... Land of the Dead while its no Sin City, its still in my opinion one of my most favourite films I've watched all year...especially as I was especting it to be utter tripe of the highest order must have made it all the better that I was proved wrong ![]() As the for the Resident Evil films...EEEEUUURGH!! I REALLY hate that director (bah his name escapes me), he's tarnished the reputations of three franchises namely Aliens, Predator (Aliens versus Predator) and Resident Evil, I'm sure the same director is directing the Doom movie as it bares the same hallmarks as his previous "game" to movie attempts i.e. made up elements, significantly distorted storylines etc. I'm really dreading the Doom movie as I passionately enjoyed the games and would hate to see this franchise horribly butchered as well... |

| Havn't seen land of the dead yet tbh its on my to watch list, the resi evil films however are half decent imo aslong as you watch with tongue firmly in cheek, the soundtrack to resi:a kicked major bottom aswell tbh. ![]() |

Actually, there's not an enormous choice when it comes to directors of game films. Doom is being directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak (Romeo Must Die). Either way, anything's better than Uwe Boll. a film doesn't have to be schinder's list to be fun to watch - and remember, brits love to moan about things! |

| The first RE film was reasonably ok but the second one was so laughably bad that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I saw the land of the dead film the other day and I thought it was decent. It certainly has its moments in places especially with the gore which made me laugh more rather than being scared. Personally I preferred DOTD but LOTD is still worth a watch if you enjoyed the previous film in the series. I have to say that Paul W.S. Anderson is a hit or miss director when it comes to big budget films. Unfortunately for him it tends to be more of a miss than a hit especially with MK and RE. Although Doom looks kinda promising if you consider the last trailer that was released. But Andrzej Bartkowiak has even worse credentials than Anderson and I thought that feat was humanly impossible. Andrzej Bartkowiak Filmography (in no specific order of quality as they're all so bad): Romeo Must Die Exit Wounds aka Romeo Must Die pt2 Cradle 2 The Grave aka Romeo Must Die pt3 |

| A film of Dead or Alive.. I wonder how that's going to work ^o|.. I'll watch it as the only thing that comes to mind is the bouncing breasts physics. We cannot choose what we are.. but what are we but the sum of our choices? |
