    Just been to see it

Quality stuff, many many nods to cult films, and several damn fine moments

Saw it last night, thought it was excellent. Can't wait to see the second one.

Oh, and it's got Sonny Chiba in it!

The hospital bit was bad . . . . the story behind Gogo's insaneness - that was bad. That HURT.

The anime scenes were the best. Done by the same people as Ghost in a Shell I believe?

I just love the scene of the sword fight in the Zen garden in snow. It's very typical Japanese 50s through 70s samari movies. Awesome!

Or alternatively, you can download a copy by getting hold of a torrent...

    But that would be naughty.

Anyhow, the torrent is the biggest pile of crap cause its a worksample and the quality sucks. If you like the movie, pay to watch it on a proper screen with dolby digital sound.

It was a good movie, i enjoyed it, but i could of easily watched the 2nd part as well. Sitting there for 3+hrs woulda suited me to a T.

I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigs Which doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!

Im going to have to agree with Bindibadgi on this one. I feel that if a movie is good enough, it deserves the respect of going to see it at the movies and my money..... besides i dont think a screener has been released yet

they make twice as much money releasing it separately.

i thought the wirework was good - really subtle and not massivly overdone like crouching tiger
