| Nouvelle Vague... Another album I mysteriously acquired after watching "Sugar Rush" which I watched solely for the production values I swear... *ahem cough* There were some songs by a band called "Nouvelle Vague" and I must say, I was utterly amazed by their album; EVERY last song (there are fourteen) is deliciously relaxing and refreshing, just pure ownage... Most of the songs are covers and in all but one of the cases their version is better by far, for example "In a manner of speaking" enough said... Its likely no one on this forum has heard of them unfortunately but I recommend you track down the album and I am sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do... A few of their songs have been in Mr & Mrs. Smith, T-Mobile ads etc. and did not realise before... I'll also like to point out that they are a jazzy, classy band, and their songs are mainly bosa novas and as such they aren't usually what I'd go out of my way to listen to but after a hard day at work or a lazy Sunday or for bedtime theres nothing better to listen to in my opinion, every song on the album is excellent, something I've never been able to say about any other album... |

| They have been around for some time. Not all of thier stuff is to my taste, but they have done some very good stuff. I have seen them live at a couple of festivals and they were great. |
