Watching it on Thursday night as it sounds great and I loved Firefly which should not have been cancelled.

I went on holiday to see a friend of mine who emigrated to the states a short while ago.
Everything is big in Texas - his plasma tv was 50 inches. Very nice.
    Anyway, to the point.

He introduced me to a little show i'd only heard of, up to that point which had no real meaning, called Firefly. He had the DVD boxset.

Now I'm a Star Trek fan, loved B5 and will quite happily watch Stargate etc. But THIS SHOW - oh my god, it was fantastic. And to watch 15 episodes only to be told 'Thats it - no more ever' "HOLY CRAP - you cant get me addicted to this then pull it away from me!"

I've not seen Serenity yet - going this Friday.

Please, please let it be good...

And my advice, to anyone with eyes, is to buy Firefly on DVD.

System as shown, plus: Akasa 965 HSF. Griffin Powermate that pulsates blue! Solid oak computer desk.
Diamondback Razor. Logitech media keyboard. Western Dig HD Media Player. An AC-S1 R2 on the 3870. Netgear DG834N router. Acer Aspire One netbook.
Creative I-Trigue 3450 driven by an Audigy 2. External 160GB and 500GB hard drives. 1 happy me. 1 not so happy me's wife.

I would just like to add, this film was great! Pooped all over the latest star wars films.

Excellent film and it really makes me wonder what made the tools at Fox cancel the series.
