| I can't say for sure, but i'm pretty sure that the general consensus on Bose is that they are definitely style over substance.I'm sure you can get more for your money from someone else. |

| Bose used to be unusual with those tiny speakers, but everyone is doing them now if that is what attracted you. have a look at http://www.richersounds.com/ for some deals. or http://www.unbeatable.co.uk/ or http://www.qed-uk.com and a host of others |

| Bose are a serous case of style over substance, looks over performance, whatever you want to call it. Given that their job is usually do produce audio or video, there are other makes that do that job far better, for far less money. Still if youve got it, hope your happy with it. I just hope you dont ever listen to something else and wonder what you just paid all that money for. Ive had that before! "my god how do you get sound like that out of 2 speakers!! where is the sub?? Where is all that bass coming from?? jeepers!! etc "2 good speakers will always beat 8 crap ones mate" was my answer ![]() I garuntee if you watch something like starwars EP2 on my stereo system you will wonder how the hell it can position lighsabres and lasers left, right forwards and back so well Even my cousin comented on it, and he's into big money home cinema silly little pod speakers and stuff ![]() Butuz |

| Big speakers > "silly little" satellite speakers any day My front three sound seriously good for movies and music. The rears aren't quite up to the same standard but they do a good job. And the sub just adds more depth Home cinema: Toshiba 42XV555DB Full HD LCD | Onkyo TX-SR705 | NAD C352 | Monitor Audio Bronze B2 | Monitor Audio Bronze C | Monitor Audio Bronze BFX | Yamaha NSC120 | BK Monolith sub | Toshiba HD-EP35 HD-DVD | Samsung BD-P1400 BluRay Player | Pioneer DV-575 | Squeezebox3 | Virgin Media V+ Box PC: Asus P5B | Core2duo 2.13GHz | 2GB DDR2 PC6400 | Inno3d iChill 7900GS | Auzentech X-Plosion 7.1 | 250GB | 500GB | NEC DVDRW | Dual AG Neovo 19" HTPC: | Core2Duo E6420 2.13GHz | 2GB DDR2 | 250GBx2 | Radeon X1300 | Terratec Aureon 7.1 | Windows MCE 2005 Laptop: 1.5GHz Centrino | 512MB | 60GB | 15" Wide TFT | Wifi | DVDRW |

| Administrator | The finest imaging I've ever heard on in an audio system was on a competition level renault 5 of all things. It had 2 horn drivers below dash level , 6 inch midbass in what appeared to be the standard door positions ( but they where in fact ninja modified underneath the grill to angle them better ) the sub was in a CFRP box where the battery box is usually in the Renault ( just behind the dash ) although there was nothing above knee level, the footsteps at the start of thriller where walking accross at chest level. |
