| S-VHS -> coax cable/adaptor? Hey guys, I've just hooked up my comp to my tv via a SVHS-SVHS cable.. my mate with a laptop wishes to do the same thing... he has an SVHS output on the back of his laptop but only a coaxial video input on the front of his TV (and scart on the back) Is there a cable which will do the trick? i had a look on maplins website but couldnt see anything... Cheers, Mark |

| If you go to an un names Audiovisual store then there is a laptop to tv department. There you will find some cables mad specially for the job. Or in accessories there is a scart adaptor. | You can use a special PC to laptop cable such as this or for a cheaper option use an s-video to s-video and a scart adapter like this ( for both ways make sure you have a spare scart socket that is wired for s-video) You can get converters for s-vid to composite but composite is poor quality in comparison |

| I can never tell that much difference between S-Video and Composite. As far as I know to get a composite signal you just join the two wires in an S-Video lead together- don't quote me though! www.no2id.net www.saynoto0870.com www.housepricecrash.co.uk Now these points of data make a beautiful line, and we're out of beta we're releasing on time.... |
