    the LE26R51B doesn't have freeview - the LE26R51BD does.

i have a LE26R51BD - and i'm pretty happy with it. I just wish there was a faster way of switching between inputs (VGA is on number 5, so takes a fair while to switch to it)

I have the LG 32LX2R and it is an awesome set.

90% of my viewing is done via my HTPC connected through the DVI port and the picture is nothing short of stunning. Let's not even mention HD stuff which will blow you away.

If I was going for a 26" set, I would just go straight out and buy the LG.

sufficient. bear in mind this is a TV and not a monitor - it's designed for viewing at a reasonable distance. close-up, the size of pixels will annoy, as will the 1360/1366 issue.

i have mine hooked up to a mythtv machine, and it's more than suitable for using as such

    Another Question.

My work are thinking of doing a sales pitch on a 32" version of the samsung. Do you think the quality would be good enough for that?

Get the samsung, their great for the price. Seen one on display in comet the other day playing a HD promotion thing for sky. The picture was amazing. If i was getting a screen that size now i would go straight for that one (with out Freefew). I haven't heard anything bad about that particular screen as of yet.

I'm thinking of getting the 32" version of the Samsung. I also saw an all black 27" one here.

for presentations a hd panel is perfectly good - it only falls down as a monitor due to lack of resolution close-up. if you wanted to use it as a monitor but had it a fair distance away (so that it was the same size to your eyes as a 17" tft on your desk would be) it'd look good..
