Once I'd hooked it up to the DVD player via component (in progressive scan mode) and the digital cable via RGB, it looked as good as any plasma I've ever seen anywhere else. Not being much of a plasma geek, I can't say more than that....but I think that only a plasma geek would be able to find fault with it really, I thought it looked great.

As for the actual looks of the thing, it has a relatively thin surround which genuinely is brushed metal, so it looks pretty cool. If you stick the speakers on the side they're plastic and it doesn't look quite as good, but it's still far from terrible. The only thing is that it has no badge on it, only a space for one. Build quality seemed sturdy enough to me, the back panel is good thick plastic and all the mounting screws/hardware were properly solid.
I'll take pictures next time I'm round there, not sure when that'll be, maybe Sunday.

just in case anyone is interested, here are a few photos of my plasma and wall mount. I've tried to get the wall mount as best i can, but it's still not very clear....and there is no way i'm lifting the screen off just for you lot

Still need to replace the fire surround to hide the cables behind, but got a few things i need to do before that.

Rave, which screen did you get in the end? i couldn't see exactly from the posts above (but i'm probably just going blind)
