In my opinion Terminator 2 SE DTS Is probably the best, another superbit dvd. Commader and Far side of the world was pretty damn godo with the DTS track, although I werent to keen on the film. Gladiator rocks at the sstart when the catapults clinking back. Basically anything which has a DTS track is usually a good film with plenty of action. The studios have to pay a considerable amount to use the DTS encoder. But to be taotally honest, it all boils down to personal taste. I have tweaked my home system around my own tastes, e.g. i have the rear speakers slightly louder than factory defaults , center speak only handles the high range, so you get a broader depth of audio when peopl are speaking on screen, and the panning is mor realistic. Does your av allow for presets ? if it does, just make yourself a preset and fiddle, that way you wont intefer with mum/dads viewing pleasure. For more tips and educated reading WhatHiFi...

    Regards

Was going to say Saving Private Ryan too, but try something more orchestral - such as Last of The Mohicans. In fact, anything with an award winning soundtrack

    Hiyas guys,

Today my copy of Kung Fu Hustle arrived thru the post, GREAT timing. I can watch this tomorrow but I saw some of it on cable and it looked great but that wasn't proper 5.1 surround sound.

I've not yet given things like LOTR a spin but that's on my todo list
