    Tuning in MCE Tuners?

I have dual Avermedia A169s in a system (Intel OurRoom) and I can't get them to pickup signal on anything.

    Help?

    Nevermind, got it working

Used direct S-Video from Sky+ Box in to the Tuner - all happy working now - and normal phono cables.

Have one glitch now - a whit"ish" bar at the bottom of MCE Live TV, not sure whats causing this? Its like an overlay... happens on all channels.

    Is this due to

    a: Cable
    b: tuner
    c: S/W
    d: Sky+ being Sky.

I *think* I remember seeing the same issue - I was installing MCE some time ago, and was using trials of various DVD software. The nVidia DVD codecs made the white line appear. So, uninstalled, and started using WinDVD. Problem went away. So my bet is it's your codec.
