| do you want HDTV, or just something for a decent resolution on 360? for the former, you won't get it for 500 - not a real one anyway (many companies lie and sell non-hd sets as hd). about the cheapest decent one is the samsung le26r41b - a 26" samsung lcd hdtv for about 600. for the latter, you can use pretty much any PC monitor - connected via VGA, the 360 allows a wide selection of resolutions, including 1280x1024 or similar. personally, i wouldn't consider any of the 500 quid screens like those aldi sell - and unless you were buying a new monitor anyway, probably end up being a waste of money. either save up for a new *proper* hdtv (£600), get a high-end pc monitor as a pc monitor which happens to work with the xbox360 (e.g. a dell 2005fpw, as long as your pc is up to it), or stick with your existing monitor. |

| Civilian | I have the Dell 20.1 WS monitor and I can tell you that it plays the Xbox 360 really well. There are no ghosting issues which is good, when you have finished with your Xbox you hit a button on the monitor and return to your desktop. Genius ![]() I got mine for £350 from aria on their specials page |
