    What HD LCD

    PHILIPS 32PF3320
    LG 32LX2R
    Samsung LE32R51BD

    Hi all,

Above are the 3 that i am hoping you chaps might be able to help me with. I am waiting til the Jan sales to see if i can get a good deal. They all seem very good screens, but what do you guys think is the best. Currently Currys are doing a good deal on the Philips so i'm leaning towards that one.

    Any advise would be great!

    Ta Darren

Sorry if this confuses tings, but don't discount the offerings from Toshiba or Panasonic...

Of the 3 you listed I thought the LG looked best when I saw them in store. I've just ordered the Toshiba 32WLT58 myself.

Whatg i have noticed about the Samsung LCD's is they have very good build quality. The LG seems a little too breakable, not sure about Philips?

I would like to spend under 1k

you can get a LE32R41BD for a fair bit cheaper than the LE32R51BD - the 51 has a slightly darker bezel, and a new firmware, but that's about it - and since only the dixons group sell them, they're not cheap. the 41's well under £900

Phillips are nowhere near what they used to be, I would really try to avoid them now. My money's with Samsung.

    12, i think

    bear in mind that

    1) response times are all lies
    2) hdtv is 60hz, pal is 50hz, 12msec is equivalent to 83hz (8msec is in theory 125hz)
