    Samsung LE26R41B LCD TV

    Hello,

I received my new Samsung LE26R41B LCD TV yesterday. I have had problems with it so far.

The picture appears slightly grainy and pixelated when watching cable via a Scart. DVD through a Scart is better, but still a touch grainy.

I had recently bought an RGB Scart calbe for my Playstation 2, but that appeared terrible, going back to composite was much better.

Is this just because the inputs are a lower resolution, or do I have a duff TV?

    Cheers!

via component, yes. the gamecube is connected via RGB-scart, and looks fine. remember only one of the SCART connectors is RGB though

yeh i know, the bottom one is RGB. I do have cheapo SCARTs mind you, maybe a nice oxygen free gold one would be better. my PC through a DVI to HDMI cable looks fine.

If not, I might need to phone the helpline...

na, you just need one with all the wires connected, not those cheap things that aren't much thicker than a pencil..

See Rave's thread about rip-off cables for reference
