| g8ina (what does your username mean?) : Nope doesn't make a difference to the sound luckily, the bass driver is high enough not to be interfered with by the sub cabinet ![]() Johnny: The speaker stands are these and the tv/equipment cabinet is some ancient thing from Argos, it's oooold, had it from my dad's work when they had a clear out years ago The top bit that the tv stands on, and the centre sits under, made it myself out of chipboard Home cinema: Toshiba 42XV555DB Full HD LCD | Onkyo TX-SR705 | NAD C352 | Monitor Audio Bronze B2 | Monitor Audio Bronze C | Monitor Audio Bronze BFX | Yamaha NSC120 | BK Monolith sub | Toshiba HD-EP35 HD-DVD | Samsung BD-P1400 BluRay Player | Pioneer DV-575 | Squeezebox3 | Virgin Media V+ Box PC: Asus P5B | Core2duo 2.13GHz | 2GB DDR2 PC6400 | Inno3d iChill 7900GS | Auzentech X-Plosion 7.1 | 250GB | 500GB | NEC DVDRW | Dual AG Neovo 19" HTPC: | Core2Duo E6420 2.13GHz | 2GB DDR2 | 250GBx2 | Radeon X1300 | Terratec Aureon 7.1 | Windows MCE 2005 Laptop: 1.5GHz Centrino | 512MB | 60GB | 15" Wide TFT | Wifi | DVDRW |

| It looks like an SVS PB12+ 2, i.e. a monsterous bloody great subwoofer. Speaking of which, has anyone seen Titan A.E? I just watched this at a healthy level and all my amplifiers, particularly my sub's, are now toasty warm Home cinema: Toshiba 42XV555DB Full HD LCD | Onkyo TX-SR705 | NAD C352 | Monitor Audio Bronze B2 | Monitor Audio Bronze C | Monitor Audio Bronze BFX | Yamaha NSC120 | BK Monolith sub | Toshiba HD-EP35 HD-DVD | Samsung BD-P1400 BluRay Player | Pioneer DV-575 | Squeezebox3 | Virgin Media V+ Box PC: Asus P5B | Core2duo 2.13GHz | 2GB DDR2 PC6400 | Inno3d iChill 7900GS | Auzentech X-Plosion 7.1 | 250GB | 500GB | NEC DVDRW | Dual AG Neovo 19" HTPC: | Core2Duo E6420 2.13GHz | 2GB DDR2 | 250GBx2 | Radeon X1300 | Terratec Aureon 7.1 | Windows MCE 2005 Laptop: 1.5GHz Centrino | 512MB | 60GB | 15" Wide TFT | Wifi | DVDRW |

| Loves duck, Peking Duck! | Wow, I was just thinking of Titan A.E. in my sleep (well sorta sleeping/dreaming) and thought I should watch it again. Howard + Suniil sweeeeet subs you guys. What are they both rated at (RMS pls)? My setup is still the same, haven't found a reason to change anything (much), however I've attenuated the sub more (-8dB atm) when listening to stuff by Massive Attack, and set it to -6dB for movies etc. Rolex: DateJust (Z/116201) with Pink Diamond Dial / Montblanc: '80s 149 14C (F), UNICEF 'Helmut Jahn' 149 (M), 149 (OBB), 149 (B), George Bernard Shaw WE (B), F. | Does it have to be an HD setup? Was going to post a photo of my system but I don't have an HD panel (can't be bothered with it at the moment). If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests? |
