I'd personally recommend the Sennheiser CX300. These in-ear headphones are just amazing! Got these about 3 months ago and i've been using them constantly because they sound so good. A friend of mine has the top model shure's and to my ear they sound almost identical, only difference that i can hear is when the headphones are hooked up to a professional set of headphone amps and a seperates cd/lp system.

That way, you can save the £20 and grab some dvd's

Another vote for the CX300s - I'm using them and I'm amazed by the sound quality from headphones which cost me £26 delivered (when Scan had them on Today Only).

That said, I've not used any more expensive headphones, but the sound from the CX300s is good enough for me, and they offer a decent amount of sound-deadening too (such that when you have your music playing at a reasonable volume you have to lip read people talking to you).

I have the shure e2c and love them. Couldnt ask for anything better. From what others have said i guess the sound isolation is even better, you have to lip read when music is fairly quiet.

The CX300's are good, but having tried both it has to be the E2c's for me everytime. Better sound (once you get the position and right ear piece) and comfort. I have always had problem with my earphones staying in, but it would take a small nuclear explosion to remove these from my ears!
