It's pretty much a wireless audio cable. Installes as a USB sound card and multimedia interface (like the media key on fancy keyboards) and let you play music from your PC on a stereo. It;s a good bit more sofisticated than many out there, but i wouldn't think the audio quality woul be up to much.

It looks to be analogue out only, and no idea what the built in DAC is like. Does it stream losslessly, or does it compress the output before sending it? is it clever enough not to get windows event sounds played through it too?

Basically it fits a purpose, but not really comparible to a SqueezeBox. For some if will be a better solution purely on the price though. I'll not be buying one in a hurry though
