I never had a bath again after that film (no wonder I stink!).

the film that made me spill a drink was Irreversable, its a french movie with subtitles, this guy gets mashed in the face with a fire extinguisher about 10 times (he's sitting down on a seat at the time) its real graphic and plain disturbing!

as for poop myself scary moments, Steven King's It, when the kid is in the shower, only seen the film when i was about 10, too scared to watch it again, and now have a phobia of clowns

Great thread idea, so many possibilities tho! I'm going to go for the eye as well, but the bit where the lead female is in the lift and a dead person (who i think is floating at the time) starts to slowly rotate to face her, then move towards her. Great moment, waiting for the lift to reach the floor before I bricked myself!!!

day of the dead (no not dawn of the dead) was scary when that guy whose arm got bitten opened the gate and all the zombies came in...wasn't all that scary but it was just the way they cornered the people...so quickly

A film called Event Horizon there's a scene near the beginning when he opens some blinds, jeez. For the next 45 minutes my heart rate was ridiculous. THen it started to get gory rather than keeping you in suspense and the effect wore off. Definitely the scariest movie I've seen.

I do remember buying my first proper PC for games and getting Unreal. I had 4.1 surround sound and was sitting in my room at around midnight when there's a scene and all the lights in the corridor go out one by one. You try to outrun it, the lights go out, an emergency red flashing light comes on and then the wall in front of you explodes and a Skaarj chases you back into the darkness. Totally crapped it when
    that happened

cky2k: Ah Irréversible... I made a whole bunch of people watch that movie just to see the look on their face in the fire extinguisher scene
Did you notice that the wrong person got the head smashed in?
Although.. I think that some find the 8 minutes (I think) rape scene even more disturbing. Its not even particularly graphic (Baise Moi was far more graphic), but I think its the length of the scene.

As for Event Horizon.. I only remember the gore to be honest..

True, I am usually quite bad with faces.. But I think that was part of the twists.. I only noticed it the second time I watched that movie (although "he" was in the background of that scene).

Another interesting fact is that the movie is rated "15" in Sweden according to imdb.

I have to agree with the original resident evil posts, btu the bit that got me was when the dogs jumped through the window after you get in to corridor through the door thats been locked until that point.

Scared the crap out of me

As for disturbing, went to watch Passion of christ and one scene in that got me(i won't say what because it's new and will spoil)

i5 new build on the way...

I saw "The people under the stairs" when I was about 9... a guy running around in a gimp suit, with a shotgun, chasing a little kid for an hour. Really really got to me... I had flashbacks of that scene when I saw pulp fiction
