After a 26" LCD for the bedroom, sub £500.

The old CRT in the bedroom has finally given up it's life and moved on to better things (well the garage for now)

I'm after a 26" LCD HDTV for the bedroom, but I don't want to spend over £500. Not fussed about DVB being built in. I've had a little look around and found 2 that fit the bill quite well, although no doubt there are plenty of others.

The LG looks nicer imo, but is there going to be much difference in picture quality between the 2? The goodmans in nearly £100 cheaper.

Anyone know if these models are cheapest elsewhere, or know of a better model I should be looking at.

You might be too late, but Sainsbury's were selling a Sony Bravia KDL-26U2000 (HDMI/VGA/Component/freeview) for £499. Needs little playing with as out of the box its far too contrasty and too vibrant, but worth checking your local store,as its not available online.
