| I'd say a big fat YES ! but it depends what set you're talking about and how you're judging them. You're paying a price premium for the styling which is fair enough in my eyes. Some folks however just want the best possible picture for their pounds and Loewe won't necessarily give you that. I second the recommendation for AVForums, beware though, you could be a while |

| If you mean CRTs that aren't available new anymore then yes. I have an Aconda 9381 ZX and people comment on the picture quality of normal Sky. If you mean LCDs then I believe they are from Sharp. |

| I have a Aconda from about 5 years back - and I have always been impressed by it. At the time I did buy a Sony Trinitron but the picture looked sharper but was much more processed looking as well. For verious reasons I returned the Sony and plumped for an Aconda. Its been so good, my parents and sister bought one as well. hey were damn expensive though at the time. For large flat screen plasmas I can't comment on the Loewe as I have not got one but the Pioneers are awesome! |

| leowe fit firmly into the law of diminishing returns. the picture quality is stunning, often unsurpassed - but the price is very steep. last time i checked, their 37" lcds were the same price as decent 47" sets (from samsung etc). personally, i think the impact a 47" set would have whilst you're watching would add more pleasure to your viewing experiance than the extra quality, however you may decide differently. I would say that the extras in quality are to a point where the average joe-on-the-street wouldnt notice them unless pointed out.. hughlunnon@yahoo.com | I have sigs turned off.. |
