    Question DVD/DivX PLayer

    Basically looking to buy DVD player for my 32" widescreen the previous owners left me by accident

    Im looking at 50 quid inc deliv really. Would preferably like it to play divX films xvid films aswell

    Something nice looking and wont fall apart would be great.

    There are too many too chose from so some inside knowledge would be great

    I have a Philips DVP 630 (which has been replaced by the Philips DVP5100/05)
    It's basic but does the job with most DivX and Xvid films and has progressive scan (if you have component cables)

    If you were feeling a bit more flash - I'd definitely recommend getting an Xbox and modding it to have XBMC as a dashboard
    This will play all Divx movies and more
    It really does rock and costs ~£100 all in...
