    Return of the king!

    saw it this morning

    oh_my_god!

despite having read the books and kinda knowing how it was gonna turn out it was still awesome. some incredible battle scenes in there, definatly on a par if not better than helms deep.

a VERY worthy ending to the trilogy, you gotta see it now, you really have! words just don;t do it justice.

Off to see it tomorrow morning... I'm even taking my first hour off college lectures since the beginning of the semester just to see it

    Quite excited, to be honest.

    **NO SPOILERS**

Absoloutley phenomenal. I would have to agree with elijah wood it is "better than one and two combined"

I am in complete awe of this story and will definaltey be reading the books now (something i should have done by now). Despite MOUNTAINS of hype and my very high expectation i am not in any way dissapointed.. well apart from its all over now.

I cant wait to see all the extended edditions, read the books and really try and unravel this piece of genius

As you can probably tell i have been completely blown away by the whole trilogy and especially todays outing

There are those who dont like it- some work colleagues i could mention- obviously they are all on mind warping loopy drugs

No doubt we shall be seeying it again soon aswell

    Agreed!

Just returned from watching it here in San Jose (visiting my parents for Chrimbo) and we all loved it!

I enjoyed it alot... although it just seemed to drag on a little at the end. Plus the cheese factor played a large part in the conclusion.

Yer it was good, exciting and the actions sequences were good. Tho I think some people really rate it too highly. Yer, sure the books are good, but they are certainly not life changing, or anything more than entertainment, and the same goes for the films. However, I do have to say the the films are excellent adaptations, and some of the photography was stunning.

How can you have gone to see the last one first without seeing The Fellowship Of The Ring and The Two Towers???

    "Gondor calls for aid!!"

A long pause, everybody looks at King Théoden.
