    TV on the blink

Well its had 5 years of good life but my old Philips CRT (mines the older one like this) is turning green and looks like its on its way out. My setup is meager, just the TV, fed from a Pioneer AV box via scart into which is plugged Telewaste Cable box, Game Cube and Pioneer DVD player. Its a 5:1 system and works very well so I won't be changing that! But I need some idea's on what screen to buy. Does it make sense to get a flat one of some description - if so any recomends? No tuner needed nor surround speakers. Just a screen.

    Thanks in advance

Based on what that telly would have cost 5 years ago, if you are looking to spend the same again - something like a 32" Samsung LCD TV?

What sort of screen size are you looking for ?

Maybe a Toshiba LCD WL/T 66 maybe ? There's also a few Panasonic PX60 plasmas still on sale for decent prices around the web.

Also, the screen turning green is a common and sometimes very minor fault. It maybe worth getting it checked out if you have a decent TV repair place near you.
