| whole flat entertainment sys? help req! I'm moving into a one bedroom flat with a seperate study, kitchen and living room. I have an old school sky box (six years old I think... but no satelite dish yet). I'm looking to buy a PC to run mythTV (or similar system) which can record from this sky box. This will output to scart, which will be split three ways to a TV in the living room, bedroom and kitchen. I'm looking to record stuff to DVD when required. I'm happy to make my own cables etc I also hope to connect to it via my laptop via wireless. So: 1.) Whats the best value equipment (motherboard, chip, ram, dvdrw, graphics, HD & recording card) for this enterprise. 2.) is mythTV best? 3.) how do I control the skybox? 4.) how do I split the channels without interference? Preferably I'd like to make this sub £1000 (or less!) Tim N |
