I have the tw-5900 which is pretty bright in daylight, epic at night so I guess the 9000 would be pretty amazing.
The 5900 doesn't have the lens shift so I have mine sat on a set of shelfs, about 4.5ft high. Works nicely with an image from the mantel piece to the coving. Still working on a screen (mine just uses the wall at the moment) but we are looking to move next year so it might wait til then.
Talking of projecting onto a wall...
That was it straight onto a magnolia wall in full brightness mode. Absolutely ridiculously good.

Looks good, love the colours. Always been a big fan of feature walls in a darker contrast colour to the rest of the room.

After a little bit of tinkering to put the image on the screen, correct zoom etc, basic brightness and the like sorted and we get:
The image is absolutely square - that pic has something on the right hand side of the shot making it look like it's on an angle but it's bob on despite the flush fit.
Pleased would be an understatement

it's behind the front grill, looking at the lens when its upside down it will (should) be the left hand cover, look at it and you should see a tab to press in to pop the cover off.
